Do you offer a health guarantee?

Yes! We offer all new puppies a 1 year health guarantee against any life-threatening genetic defects. Feel free to contact us for more information about your puppy. Your puppy also has the option to get 30 days of complimentary health insurance through AKC if they have coverage in your area/state.

How much is a puppy deposit?

The deposit is 50% of the cost of the puppy, with the balance due in full at pickup or delivery. We cannot hold a puppy without a deposit, no exceptions.

I want to get a puppy but can't decide between a boy or girl. What are the main differences?

In general, the biggest differences with this type of dachshund are energy level, training and size. Girls can be easier to potty train and tend to be more energetic. Boys are usually more low-key/laid back and calmer. If there is a barker, it tends to be a girl more often than not. Boys run larger, around 10-12 lbs on average. Girls usually mature under 11 lbs. If you're looking for affectionate, silly and sweet – there's good news! Both boys and girls are generally good natured and loving.
